    Default "our life" or "our lives"

    Could anyone tell me which is right?

    It depends upon the context. You will never be wrong with "our lives," since "our" means that there is more than one person, therefore more than one life. However, sometimes we want to express that we are sharing a life with someone, such as a husband or wife. In these cases we might say, "our life (together.)"
