Default train / beak of a wherry

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expressions in bold in the following sentences?

I wish it were in the bottom of the Thames, I do; and if Miss Pinkerton were there, I wouldn't pick her out, that I wouldn't. O how I should like to see her floating in the water yonder, turban and all, with her train streaming after her, and her nose like the beak of a wherry."

train = a part of a gown that trails behind the wearer

wherry = light rowing boat for use in racing or for transporting goods and passengers in inland waters and harbors

    Thanks for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V

    You're right.

And the beak of the wherry is the front, or pointed end of it.
