Speaks the number as a whole number
Hi,
I found this sentence from one document: The number 123 is spoken as "one hundred twenty-three."
Can I say "one hundred and twenty three" ? what is the difference?
Thanks.

I think this is a BrE vs AmE difference. In BrE, we always use the word "and" when speaking numbers. I believe in AmE, the "and" isn't necessarily used.
