Dear teachers,
Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?
Your client…certainly can put on an act. She poses as little Miss. Sweetness, little Miss Innocence, but she’s a deep one.
a deep one = a secretive, wily, crafty and roguish person

It seems to suggest that in this context, but to me it just means normally that there's more to a person than meets the eye, but not necessarily negative.
