My heart will go on and on
Hi, could you please analyse the structure of the phrase "go on and on" ?
Is "on and on" complementary for the verb "go" or the second "on" is independent from modifying "go" or that is the emphasizing by repeating like as "go on and go on" ?
Hope you can understand what I want to mean, if possible, please correct my grammatical mistakes in my OP.
Thank you so much !

Yes, 'on and on' is the complementary for the verb 'go.' The second on isn't independent. It is like saying "read it again and again."
Corrections: There shouldn't be any space between the last word of a sentence and the punctuation. It has to follow right after the last word. Refer the highlighted part of your post.
