Words to Describe a Character's Appearance
I am having trouble finding resources to teach me how to describe or visualize a character by his or her noticeable traits. For example, if someone is said to have a, "high cheekbone," or, "wide-set eyes," I have no idea what that looks like in comparison to the alternatives. I can look at a subject or imagine one, but I do not know the words to describe what I see.
Is there a specific class I need to attend to learn all the ways a person could be described? Or ideally, is there a book or online resource I could check out that has all the combinations with photos/drawings?
