There is a sign in our local MRT station, reads :

Please tell me -- is there any grammar issue here ?

'Thank you for taking the Taipei MRT' could be used (as a sign people could see when leaving), but 'Welcome to take' doesn't work.
In Taipei MRT , when a train is approaching, the electronic billboard (flash) reads: "train is approaching" , is it right ? How to diaplay that in UK or USA ?
Tien-sung (Taiwan)
That's fine. 'Train approaching' can also be used to save space, like a headline.
