question regarding using appropriate sentence to construct a sentence

I want to know that am i correct in forming sentence like this.

suppose i have 4 sons,

So can i say that :

they are the successors of my progeny?

Or

they are the successors of my lineage?

Can the word succeed or successor or succession be used for progeny and lineage?

Can i say that they are the carriers of my progeny...

What could be the appropriate sentence please let me know, are these correct or none of this is correct? if so what will be the correct sentence...

None of them work for me. Unless you're an incredibly important person of have some hereditary title, etc, to confer on them, I can't see the need for this sentence- they're your heirs IMO.

You can say that they are your progeny, offspring, children. You should only use one of these nouns, as they all pretty much mean the same thing. Descendants generally refers to those generations more remote than children and grandchildren. A successor is one who comes next in time or order and it is not frequently used in discussions about family. (Obama is Bush`s successor as President of the US.)
