while looking at the Mcdonald's website, at this link
on the first screen, at the bottom, it says 'available at selected stores' Used here as a verb meaning chosen, picked out and on the next screen (titled 'If you can't come to McDonald's ...') it says 'this service is currently available in select cities'. Used here as an adjective, meaning pretty much the same as the verb.
Do 'select' and 'selected' mean exactly the same thing? Can they be used interchangeably? I would say that they can in this context.
