As we discussed earlier today that I would like to take couple hours vacation time in the afternoon of Jan. 03. I would like to leave 12:00 PM at my lunch time. I will return as soon as done with the appointment.

Basically, the easiest way to correct this is to rewrite it. Please don't feel that it is bad. I have tried to keep to the original where possible.

As discussed earlier today, I would like to take two hours vacation on January 3rd. I would like to leave at noon at the beginning of my lunch break. I will return as soon as my appointment is over.
