    Default Future tense, time clauses

    Hello!

I'm trying to write lyrics for my song and I got stuck here:

Come to your senses or... (here are two variants)

Come to your senses or it is too late
Come to your senses or it will be late

One the one hand, there is no sequence of tenses, so I'm free to put future tence here, but on the other hand I feel it is not correct (don't know why).

    Which is correct?

    Thank you in advance!

Well, in a song you can get away with almost anything, so don't worry too much.

The more natural normal form would be:

Come to your senses (now) or it will be late (to come to your senses in the time after now - i.e. future time)
