A thesaurus does not just give a list of synonyms for a word; it gives words that may be used in place of the original word - in the right context. Your link gives these words for ‘journey’

I don't think anybody would claim that these are all synonyms for journey in all contexts.

Journey can be used as an alternative to adventure in some contexts, such as, for example, Peter Pan's "To die would be a great journey".
