walk pass or walk past

If you want to tell somebody that he can't ignore a beggar just like that, would you say:

" But you can not walk pass this man"

OR

" But you can not walk past this man"

(The trouble is that people usually walk/run/go.... past 'the/them/this/that/these/those <somethings>' and the /t/ is assimilated to the following dental fricative. Assimilated that is; not dropped. But someone who is new to the language is unlikely to hear it.)
