Hi,

Quoted from <Desperate Housewife>:

You nailed my wife.

(Someone told Poter this, because Poter had sex with his wife.)

I am just wondering if the "nail" here makes no sense at all? Because I looked it up in many of my dictionaries and found nothing several times.

May I have your help?

Urban Dictionary: nail
I don't think you have access to this dictionary from China, so I'll break one of my own rules and quote from it:

"verb: to penetrate with penis
1. I nailed her 3 times last night.
verb: to screw financially
2. She really nailed me in the divorce settlement, I lost almost everything of value to her lawyer."

You're not going to find transient slang terms in mainstream dictionaries.

In AmE, "nail" can be used as a slang term for the sex act. It's not necessarily crude, but it's not as polite as saying "making love", either. ;-)
