Text Review and Advanced Tips

Hello,

I've started a new blog which is focused on my country and my work, that is, Brazil and software development. The idea is getting people to know what is like to be a software developer living in São Paulo, Brazil.

I would really appreciate if you could give me any tip or direction how to improve my written English skills. There is almost no technical content in the blog, so it should be very straight forward for anyone to read it. Bear in mind that I've learned the language self-studying, and I have almost no academic knowledge of it.
