Fifteen (
days?) ago a friend of mine
, who is an
English student like me
, dropped
me in and we shared our knowledge of language as usual
. At the time he
's was leaving, I told
you him:
Thank you for dopping in
Then we
follow continued to talk for a little while, and as he
's was leaving again I told
you him:
Thank you for coming
Yesterday I was speaking with him
by on the phone and, when we finished our conversation I told
you him:
Thank you for having come the other day
, and come again.
IMO it is correct, although I would say "thank you for dropping by the other day." Of course, native speakers may as well correct me if I'm wrong Does Is the phrase FOR HAVING COME correct ? I'm doubtful about it
Please, reply me
