casino
Dear all,
What is the meaning of "casino" in the following context?
(Mr. wrick is talking about how it's not possible to threaten to fire somone by pushing him put of the window.
MR. WICK I thought they always landed on their feet?
DREW That's cats, sir.
MR. WICK Well... Well, they do have some sort of special powers, don't they?
DREW They can have casinos.
MR. WICK Well there you are then.
(audience laughter)
What does "casino" mean here? What does that hase anything to do with cats landing on their feet, or that they have special powers??
Thanks a lot

Take a look at the link in my previous post. Native American tribes have special rights in the gambling business.

Does he mean then that if he fires someone, that one can go run a casino? Like they have the power to find a wrok in case of geeting fired? Is that it??
Thanks a lot.

It doesn't mean that to me. I don't think Drew's last remark has anything to do with falling out of the window or being fired. It's only related to the question about Native Americans' "special powers". He says that they have a "special power" (special rights) of running a gambling business.
"Here you are then" means something like, "You see, I was close." He wasn't close at all and that's probably what makes it funny.
