would as a past tense of will
Hello teacher, good day! I learned from others that would is the past tense of will, Is this always true in speaking of english? How to use appropriately "would" in speaking english? Can you give me an idea of how to understand and realize using "would" in english?
Thank you very much!

No, 'would' does not always mean the past tense of 'will'.
You should probably do some reading first and then ask specific questions about what you don't understand.
