Any informal term for "chandelier", please?
Hi,
Could anyone tell me if there's any simple/informal word referring to the same object? What is the name for the shop selling these?
Thanks.

Is 'lustre' used for the same object in English? Ta!

You could call it a "light," but there is nothing formal or unusual about the word "chandelier."

"Lustre" is the word in French for what we call a chandelier. In French a chandelier is what we call a candelabra or simply a candlestick.
