But, to make things simple, we can chill the drink. 
I would go warm/cool/chilly/cold/freezing. Cool can be either pleasant or the start of unpleasant, but chilly is not pleasant IMO.

I seem to remember a folk song (Canadian?) called Chilly Winds.
