Dear everybody,

I am a bit confused about how to use 'differently'. As far as I know the preposition after differently is 'from'. At the same time the following sentence sounds very strange to me:

'Did they behave differently from normally in the lessons?'

Is this correct? If not, how would it be good?

"Did they behave differently from normal........." In this example "differently" is an adverb modifying "behave" and "normal" is used as a noun.
