LONGMAN DICTIONARY OF COMMON ERRORS says that 'The cathedral is worthy to be visited' is wrong and we should say 'The cathedral is worth visiting'. Then in what situations should we use the construction of 'worthy to be done'? Is the following sentence correct?
All of that is true and worthy to be recalled.
Thank you in advance.

Thanks, bhaisahab.
Then can we say 'He's worthy of having such an honor' and 'He's worthy to have such an honor'? And how about the usage of 'worthy' in AmE?
Thank you again.
