There are other possibilities, but I think this covers your intended meaning.

The word "suppose" can mean two things each of which changes its usage. (1)It can mean "think"... I suppose you are a teacher.In the past form,just as "think" becomes "thought","suppose" also becomes "supposed"...when I saw him in that attire I Supposed he was a king.
