in hospital or to hospital I admitted my brother "in" the city hospital yesterday night.
I admitted my brother "to" the city hospital yesterday night.
Which preposition is correct?

Teacher Re: in hospital or to hospital Do you mean that you took your brother to the city hospital? Doctors usually admit patients, not family members.

In America, we would not say 'yesterday' night, we would instead say 'last' night. Therefore, the better way of writing this sentence would be:
My brother was admitted to the city hospital last night.
or
I took my brother to the city hospital last night.
