Hello!
I'm having some problems with the present perfect again!
"Footballers earn a lot of money even though they haven't studied".
Is the use of the present perfect correct here?
Thank you very much for your time
Will
Sorry there's a horrible mistake in the title but I can't correct it!
*Not a teacher
I would use the past simple.
Footballers earn a lot of money even though they didn't study. - they didn't study and they are not going to study
Footballers earn a lot of money even though they haven't studied. - although they haven't studied, they might start studying sometime (very unlikely)
