What is the meaning of "change" in this context?
This is the sentence I want to understand the meaning:
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival in order to avoid the first night's room change.
Could you please tell me the meaning of "change" in the above? I think it should be "charge" but I'm not sure about all the meanings "change" can have.
Thank you so much!
