Hello everyone,
Please take a look at the following sentences:
"I'm wearing some nice shorts"
"I'm wearing a nice short"
Which one is correct? Thanks in advance.
Not a teacher
Maybe somewhere you can use short for a mini-skirt, (a singular noun), but reffering to the concept of "trousers" (a plural noun) I'm used to shorts.
M.
"I'm wearing some nice shorts" is correct.
Rover
You can wear a "mini" but not a "short."
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
