gloomy
I am gloomy about you as you are not in well condition physically.
I am gloomy about my servant because he has been ill for two days.
- Am I right to use the word ''gloomy''(sad and unhappy about situations or persons) here?
Ali was sitting in the garden having gloomy expression on his face.
- Can I use ''gloomy expression'' here?

We are normally just gloomy, not gloomy about things or people, though we can be gloomy (= pessimistic) about future prospects:
"I am gloomy about my servant's chances (of survival)."
Ali was sitting in the garden having with a gloomy expression on his face.
Can I use ''gloomy expression'' here? Yes

Re: gloomy
Not a teacher
"Gloom" dark, resulting in "gloomy" adjective, often used as sad or despondent. So it can be used to describe a person or a place.
"Ali was sitting in his gloomy room with a gloomy expression on his face."

I would tend to use "glum" for an expression on someone's face, and "gloomy" for atmosphere or weather. That may just be my personal preference of course.

Re: gloomy
In spite of personal preferences, I still see “gloomy day, gloomy faces, gloomy news, gloomy predictions” appearing in many a text.
Respectfully,
M.

emsr2d2 and BobK are probably in the majority, but some people do indeed speak of gloomy faces, etc.
