My Uncle asked me "Should I drop you?"
I answered "I can go by walk".
Was I polite. Is it right to answer so or is there any polite sentence to say?
Welcome to the forum, anandharajagopal.
It would be better to say 'No, thanks - I'll walk.'

***** NOT A TEACHER *****
I believe that most Americans prefer the preposition "on":
I'll go ON foot.
Thanks
Or Thanks for the offer, but I'll walk.
Thanks again.
They key to being polite is to thank the person for the offer, whether you accept the offer or not.
No thank you, I will...
Thank you, I would appreciate that.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
