    Default folklore beliefs

Please check out the following sentence.

The folklore beliefs brought from their homeland in China, such as the Great Emperor of Three Universes, Mazu, Local Earth God and later evolved Hakka Yimim belief, were the spiritual sustenance of Han Chinese in the Yangmei Region in the Qing Dynasty.

Shouldn't there be "the" before "later evolved"?

Hmm, not necessarily. You mean "the later evolved belief". But 'belief' doesn't require an article.
It's quite OK to write "Early Christian belief did not hold Jesus to be God. Belief in the Trinity was consolidated at the Council of Nicea."

"Folklore brought later evolved Hakka Yimim belief to the Yangmei Region."
