Present Simple vs Present Continuous

Hi, I think I pretty much know the usage difference of present simple and present continuous, but I've stumbled upon a sentence that I cannot figure out what present tense to use with it.
So, I have the following sentence:
"As he flies out of the window, Matt looks at Shock with disgust on his face."

It is supposed to express an action which happens in the present moment.

Which is more correct from the following:
1. As he flies out of the window, Matt looks at Shock with disgust on his face.
2. As he is flying out of the window, Matt is looking at Shock with disgust on his face.
3. As he flies out of the window, Matt is looking at Shock with disgust on his face.
4. As he is flying out of the window, Matt looks at Shock with disgust on his face.

All are possible:

1. As he flies out of the window, Matt looks at Shock with disgust on his face. This is rather like a stage direction or caption to a photograph.

2. As he is flying out of the window, Matt is looking at Shock with disgust on his face. Also possibly a caption.

3. As he flies out of the window, Matt is looking at Shock with disgust on his face.This suggests that the looking has a longer duration than the flight.
4. As he is flying out of the window, Matt looks at Shock with disgust on his face. Probably the one you would expect in normal circumstances, with no other context.

I see. Thank you very much for your reply. The sentence is part of a story described in the present moment, you know like a thriller or something. So, which of the four versions is more appropriate for this?

If it's told in the present tense, like the stories of Damon Runyon, then #1 is probably the most likely, but all of them are possible.
