Hello~, strangers ^_^a
I don't get the mean of "spoiling pets."
Please help me become aware of what that means.![]()
Depending on the context, it can mean pampering them - treating them with too much indulgence - typically overfeeding them.

Sorry, actually, complete sentence is following:
Investing money in spoiling pets can significantly reduce one's stress level because raising pets can distract people from their worries.
In my opinion, the phrase of "spoiling pets" seemed to be described positively, but I didn't get it even though I had look through different dictionaries, which described "spoil" as a negative term.
Am I wrong or correct? T^T
It is really confusing and for this reason, I begged your helping.
Ah!! I have just understood what this means while posting reply !!
I misunderstood "spoiling" as an adjective !!
I got it.
"Pamper" looks similar with "spoil". :D
Thank you so much !

I still agree with your first opinion. Spoiling pets, or spoiling children for that matter, has a negative connotation in my book. I would have written "investing money in pets" and left spoiling out.
::Not a teacher::
Some people admit to spoiling their pets (few parents will admit to spoiling their children). After all, pets don't have to grow up to become productive members of society.
If you sleep all squished up on a tiny corner of a king-sized bed because your greyhound likes to sleep stretched out across the middle, then you've got a spoiled dog.
If you keep an ottoman on top of a coffee table in your living room in front of the picture window just because your cat likes to sit up there and look outside, you've got a spoiled cat.
Not that I've ever done any of the above.....![]()
