Hello,
Is the use of prepositions correct in these sentences?
1. Good luck with the lessons.
2. Good luck on your interview.
What about here?
1. Good luck on the lessons.
2. Good luck with your interview.
Can you tell me the difference if I use on or with after the word good luck.
Thanks in advance.
COCA gives 405 examples with 'with', 154 with 'in' and 97 with 'on'. Quite a few of the 'on' sentences are of this type: 'Good Luck on Monday'. So, 'with' and 'in' appear to be safe. There appears to be no difference in meaning between them.
The COCA figures confirm my own feeling.
