"interpretative" and "interpretive"
What is the difference between "interpretative" and "interpretive"?

Re: "interpretative" and "interpretive"
There is no difference in meaning.
I just looked in the dictionary to see if "interpretative" actually existed as a word. I would have assumed someone who said it did not know the word was "interpretive."

Yes, I am. The only use of the word I know of is in the phrase "interpretive dance."
