Is it correct or wrong to use the verb is in the setences below.

Q. Where's my cup holders?
A. I don't have one. - Is the word one here used correctly?

Q. Where's my shorts (the ones that men or women wear to cover their lower body)?
A. I don't know.

A. I don't have one. - Is the word one here used correctly? It's possible,but unlikely; the more natural response would be, "I don't have them/I haven't got them".

A. I don't know. Fine.

It would be marked wrong in a test, but as Fivejedjon says, you may hear some people using it in colloquial conversation.

But note you will only hear the contacted "where's" and not the uncontracted "where is."
