    Default make/make up a bibliography?

I need to (A. make, B. make up) a selective bibliography for my paper.

For the above sentence, should I choose A or B, if I don't use "write" or "compile"?
I ask this question because "to make up a bibliography" suggests "to invent or fabricate a fake bibliography." Therefore, I should choose A, am I right? Thank you very much.

'Make up' can also mean 'construct, form', but there is a risk of ambiguity. 'Make' is not wrong, but 'compile' is better. Informally, 'do' is used.
