    Default gap(s) between student(s) and teacher(s)

    Hi,

    Question:
    Which sentence is correct?

    Sentence1:
One of my responsibilities was to bridge the gap between student and teacher.
    Sentence2:
One of my responsibilities was to bridge the gap between students and teachers.
    Sentence3:
One of my responsibilities was to bridge the gaps between students and teachers.

    Thanks

Of those three, I prefer number two. You are likely to be talking about one gap but it is found between many students and teachers.

However, all three are correct, as previously stated.

Please see my amendments to your post.

    - You don't need to start it with "Usually". We're only being asked this question once, not regularly, so there would be no answer that we "usually" give.

    - I think you probably wanted the opinion of English speakers, not English people.

-Those speakers are plural, so "Which one do..." not "Which one does".

    - We do not "prefer the most". "To prefer" means "to like the most" so "prefer" is sufficient.
