    Default Meaning of "bn"

    Its market value plunged by 63 per cent that day, to 3.3bn.
    What does it mean by "3.3bn."

    In my opinion, bn stands for billion. So, it means that its market value is now 3.3 billions.

    We say "Three hundred, thousand, million, billion dollars", but "hundreds, thousands, millions, billions of dollars"
