The quote is a snippet of my email. A forum teacher here revised my wording of 'quite appreciate' as very much appreciate.Iquitevery much appreciate the time and efforts you have taken forpreparingtraining me, andtrying tolethelping me adapt to ****asap.
I think quite appreciate is grammatically correct, but native speakers don't say it. Am I right? Can I say " I highly appreciate ... ..."? I was used to say "highly appreicate".

I think I'd be more likely to say "I somewhat appreciate" rather than "quite". I wouldn't equate "quite" with "very much". However, with your email, if you're thanking someone a lot for their help, then "very much" would be appropriate.
