    Unless, you have been off for an extended time, like a medical leave. Then you might say you are back to work.

    It depends on the verb you choose.

    I am back at work.
    I came back to work [yesterday/last week].
    I went back to work.
    He has gone back to work.
    She will be back at work next week.

    So, as you can see, any form of "to be" attracts "at".
