    Default big meal after funeral

In Asiain countries, the bereavel and friends of the deceased will get together and have a full meal in a restaurant right after the funeral. What do we call this sort of get-together dining function. Do you have it in Western countries?

In the UK, we have a "wake" which can be anything from a small group of people just going to the nearest pub or bar, or to someone's house after the funeral, to a huge get-together. Depending on the family's culture it can be a very sombre affair, with people still speaking quietly and behaving much as they did at the funeral, all the way through to a massive party with vast quantities of alcohol and dancing!
