(The source)In the scene, the woman is staying in her hometown and thinking about a coffee shop in New York, where she often visited after work.
If it is possible to say '[...] this nice place, where she often visited.', where "to visit" is functioning similar to "to go", it should be possible to say something like this:
"- Have you been to New York?
- Yes, I visited there last year." Q #1: Is it possible?
Q #2:
Would you say "[...] this nice place, which she often visited.' or does "where" sound completely acceptable to you?
Thanks.
Possible on all counts, intransitive versus transitive usage.
