Question "I am off to bed" vs "I am going to bed"

    Hey!

Is there any difference between the two or both have the same meaning:

    1. I am off to bed.
    2. I am going to bed.

If both are same then is there any other way to say the same thing?

    Thanks

    Zuhair

    There's no difference.

    Also 'I'm turning in'.

Or two rather Irish-sounding variants: 'It's bed it is for me' or 'I'm for my bed'; perhaps these are translations of Gaelic - Bhai?

(I'm not suggesting that you use them, but it might help to be able to recognize them.)
