I'm sorry, I just don't agree with this.
There is no implication of "get lost." It simply means "I'm fine without any additional help."
In modern lingo, we'd more more likely to say "I"m good."
Do you need help with the dishes?
No, I'm fine. // No, I'm good.
Remember that this movie is set at the dawn of WWII, so modern usage reported in the Urban Dictionary is not going to be applicable.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
