E is incorrect. The "On the other hand" could work (though I don't like it) but "Metaphor and metonymy are both figures of speech most of which one word may be used..." is absolutely incorrect and makes no sense.

Of those choices, I would have chosen C.

in my view. "Where" is often used in speech as a substitute for "in which" but in an English test, no.

Absolutely. Initially, when I saw choice (B) I thought they had got "in which" wrong and put "at which" but then "Correspondingly" didn't work either.

The test questions which are posted here frequently don't have a correct answer as one of the choices. Poor students!
