    If we convert the example, will it become 1 or 2?
    ex)Shall we dance?
    1. Do you want us to dance?
    2. Will you let us dance?

    1 comes closer but is not idiomatic.

    I agree with Rover.

    "Let's dance" is also a possibility, but it's not as elegant as Rover's choice.
