Hello, everyone.
I am reading a report from the New York Times and saw this sentence a moment ago.
The writer here is obviously referring to two months. Should we say the first and last months' rent instead?Quote:
Brokers say prospective renters need to come prepared to close a deal on the same day — ready to write a check for thousands of dollars to cover the first and last month’s rent, and the broker’s fee.
Many thanks
Richard
