Default How to ask about salary?

I received a job offer letter yesterday. The employer did not mention salary. However, a salary range is stated in the job advertisement. Since the range is so big, and I want to find out what the pay will be for me. How can I structure the sentence and ask politely about the salary?

Can I just ask "How much will be the salary if I am considered for the position"?

    Thanks a lot!

Being considered is not enough. You should ask, "How much will the salary be if I am offered the position?"

Your original post said you received a "job offer letter" so it appears you have already been offered the job. I would, therefore, avoid saying "if I am offered the job". I would suggest something like "Thank you very much for offering me the position of ... However, the advertisement only gave a salary range and your offer letter dud not include the actual salary being offered. I would be grateful if you would advise me as soon as possible the actual salary."
