Default has he been/ has he gone/ did he go

    Hello Wise Ones,

Do you agree that these are all correct?

    1. When ( ) to England?

    a. has he been
    b. has he gone
    c. did he go

Although the verb tenses are different, are they all correct? Why?

Thank you for your kind help!

    Corey

Please bear in mind the time differences and try to curb your impatience. Here in the UK your question was posted at 2am and you chased it at 6am.

Please write 'please' in full next time.

    a and c are fine.

I'm struggling to find a context in which b would sound right.

    Rover,
Thank you for responding to my question.

I also feel that answers: a & c are correct.

Do you know how to explain the reason why grammatically?

    1. When ( ) to England?

    a. has he been

    b. has he gone
    c. did he go

Try your original thread. Then we won't get confusing answers.
