In speech, both are possible. The intonation makes it clear that we are not saying 'more relaxed and (more) happier.

Actually, I think both are acceptable in writing. Our mind interprets the intended message correctly.

    not a teacher

Hello and welcome to the forum Winnie Pooh. You should start a new thread for your task and you should try to transform the sentences yourself first. The teachers will hopefully correct it then.
    I don't think it's that hard.

    For example:
    2) M lacks the ability to accept criticism.

Your version is OK, although I think you should keep "this", and not change it to "that".

The company plans to keep this model.
The company does not plan to replace this model.

Remember to put a full stop at the end of every sentence. Thank you.

There are so many ways these can be rewritten!

Of these two in particular, I wouldn't be surprised if the examiner was looking for "She takes pride in the way she keeps her house clean and tidy" and "The team of experts finally came up with the solution to the problem."

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
