Dear teacher!
I have a question.
- I feel ____________ whenever I go to the pagoda.
a- happier and more relaxed
b- more relaxed and happier
The key is A. But why isn't B chosen , please?
In speech, both are possible. The intonation makes it clear that we are not saying 'more relaxed and (more) happier.
Actually, I think both are acceptable in writing. Our mind interprets the intended message correctly.
Can you please help me with this sentence transformations:
1. The company does not intend to replace this model. PLANS
The company
2. I don’t think that M is able to accept criticism. LACKS
3. Work done before 9.00am, isn’t overtime. COUNT
4. We can be confident that R will perform well on the games. RELY
5. Are we likely to get this contract? CHANCES
6. A high standard of customer service is the reason for the company’s success. FOUNDED
7. He decided to make Edinburgh his permanent home. SETTLE
8. She is very proud of the way she keeps her house clean and tidy. TAKES
9. The team of experts finally managed to get the right solution to the problem. CAME
10. The number of people in the square must have exceeded 10000. LEAST
Thanks A Lot

Hello and welcome to the forum Winnie Pooh. You should start a new thread for your task and you should try to transform the sentences yourself first. The teachers will hopefully correct it then.
I don't think it's that hard.
For example:

There are so many ways these can be rewritten!
Of these two in particular, I wouldn't be surprised if the examiner was looking for "She takes pride in the way she keeps her house clean and tidy" and "The team of experts finally came up with the solution to the problem."
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
